Achitecture and Wood Pushin'

I read a short, interesting article today on designboom, which is one of my favorite websites as of late.

Anyways, the article was about a photographer named Raphaël Zarka, who has is a collector of forms, skateboarder, and artist. Raphaël captures the sculptural possibilities of structures such as a concrete breakwater, unfinished monorail or the unrealized constructions which litter the urban landscape.

I liked this article, because it approaches the subject of street skating from a very different point of view from the average skate or bmx publication.

When you are done with the article (and crankfaster.blogspot of course), you may want to check out designboom.com for yourself. Maybe take a look at the art or design threads?

Or just search the word bicycle, and see what comes up.
